Kim is leaving July 10th for a three week tour of Europe promoting her new release, “Sun Went Down”. The tour includes performances in London, England and Paris, France! Keep an eye here for blog updates and photos from the road.

Kim is proud to be a part of Design Hope. This is a compilation CD of Hamilton artists, and all money raised is for Out Of The Cold. The CD release is set for Oct. 20th at the Westside Concert Theatre in Hamilton, 434 King St. W. 905-807-3142. More info to come. Thanks to everyone for your support of this year's Design Hope project. "December Songs" was released this weekend in Hamilton, and so far, over $2500 has been raised for the Out Of The Cold program that benefits the shelters in our city".

Some of the songwriters for this CD include Tom Wilson, Rob Lamothe, Kim Koren, The Acoustics, Shawn Brush, Dan Medakovic, Linda Deumo, Harrison Kennedy, Jacob Moon, Mike Trebilcock and Alfie Smith.

Dundas born and raised singer-songwriter Kim Koren garnered THREE nominations at this years Hamilton Music Awards!


The nominations follow the sophomore release of her independent CD “Sun Went Down” earlier this year. Kim was nominated in the following categories:

Alternative Country Recording of the Year

Female Vocalist of the Year

Kim is heading back to the United Kingdom!!! She will be touring throughout Britain from March 3rd to 12th with her first show in Liverpool! Stay tuned for more dates in more cities as they come in!

Kim is VERY proud to have won the “Event of the Year Award” at the 2008 Hamilton Music Awards for her organization of the Year Of The Cat event which raised over $1,200 for the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.
